• My own practice — client work early on, then Typefury, a Vue 3 and Firebase post scheduler with OpenAI hashtag generation in 2023. Since 2025, where I build and run my own products end to end.
• Kirtan Notation and Sangeet Notation — a multi-brand SaaS with paying subscribers for writing, playing back and sharing Bhatkhande notation for Indian classical and Sikh devotional music. Two brands ship from one Nuxt 4 / Turborepo monorepo on Supabase, with social sign-in, Paddle subscription billing and webhooks, MRR reporting, an admin analytics console, PDF and MIDI export, a PWA, and Capacitor apps for iOS and Android. Per-country purchasing-power pricing through Paddle price previews, and a payments audit that closed two privilege-escalation paths in the row-level security.
• LLM vision scanning on Anthropic Claude — a Deno edge function that started multi-provider across OpenAI, Gemini and Anthropic, then consolidated on Claude with raga and taal aware post-processing and a lenient parser. Accuracy is measured, not estimated: a beat-level eval built from the app's own compositions (24 fixtures, 2,978 beats, no hand labelling) puts the best configuration at about 90% of beats exact — note, octave and ornament — on rendered pages in its first three-page sweep, down to 25% with thinking switched off on Haiku 4.5, with a 31-point spread across repeat runs of one configuration. Live for admin accounts today, not yet for subscribers; handwriting is unmeasured.
• Raga identification — a six-signal heuristic plus an n-gram fingerprint rerank against a corpus of published compositions. Leave-one-out top-1 goes from 67.3% to 72.7% over 55 compositions and 31 ragas, and would reach 83.6% with subscribers' private compositions in the corpus — which it does not, because a fingerprint can be inverted back into the melody.
• Rebuilt Kirtan Player from Vue into a React and React Native monorepo — TanStack Router and Query across two web apps, an Expo app on mobile with Reanimated and NativeWind, over shared api, playback, design-token and UI packages — with Claude Code driving most of the mechanical conversion. The React codebase is what is public on main.
• Writing on baljeetsingh.in covers the notation work end to end — teaching Claude to read a notation system it has never seen, what measuring that pipeline found, and identifying the raga from the notes — plus an MCP server for a Vue design system, running coding agents in disposable Docker containers, and rendering Bhatkhande notation without a font.
• swarlipi (npm, MIT, github.com/BeeJaySoft/swarlipi) — a fontless Bhatkhande notation renderer: framework agnostic, SSR-safe, zero dependencies; renders a compact ASCII grammar into five scripts with every mark drawn in CSS and inline SVG, and keeps the Omenad font key mapping so existing notations carry over.
• supaflags — feature flags that live in your own Postgres rather than a vendor's SaaS, with a framework-agnostic engine on the OpenFeature standard and flags evaluable inside row-level security policies.
• Kirtan Player (MIT) — a React and React Native player and tagging workbench, with a Python audio aligner, over 20 years of archived Sri Harmandir Sahib recordings.
• Scoreboard (MIT) — event-sourced, offline-first live scorecards that sync over Supabase realtime with tombstoned deletes, plus OBS overlays and highlight reels rendered in the browser with WebCodecs.

• Led frontend architecture and product engineering across the C-Suite Circle family of products, web and mobile, in Vue, React, Ionic, Capacitor and Node.
• Mentored junior developers on the frontend team while it was larger, and still mentor developers who ask.
• Main contributor to the Underlings component library (ul-components, 2024), with Storybook 8 stories and interaction-test add-ons.
• Product apps across the group, as frontend lead or main contributor: Greater, a community app on desktop web and Ionic mobile with real-time chat, groups, events and member connections over GraphQL subscriptions (2023); Efficient Video and Efficient Media, a Video.js player with HLS quality switching and sprite-sheet scrubbing, plus media-library dashboards with uploads, API keys, webhooks, custom domains, AI asset enhancements and billing (2023–24); Invited, an events and community PWA built on Apollo with typed GraphQL codegen and native push notifications (2025).
• Worked on improving C-Suite Circle's existing Vue design system: wrote Storybook stories so the team could explore and try each component in isolation, and trialled Histoire, the Vue-native alternative, alongside it.
• Empathy DS (empathyds.com) — built solo in six weeks: a 60-component Vue 3 design system on shadcn-vue and Tailwind v4 with an OKLCH token system, composite blocks and VitePress docs. Published @empathyds/vue, @empathyds/skills and @empathyds/mcp-server, a Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants discover components, props, variants and blocks from the registry.
• GatherCloud — a React events platform in a pnpm monorepo of SPA, Node API, realtime gateway and workers on GCP, with LiveKit carrying audio and video. Frontend and design-system lead: migrated the shared library to vendored shadcn on Base UI with a patch file so upstream refreshes cannot silently drop local changes, and added a CI check that fails the build if a component ships without a live demo. Shipped iOS and Android from the same codebase with Capacitor, including a bearer-token auth path so the native shell could sign in without cookies, and built the live-room, host and organizer surfaces against the realtime gateway.
• Platform and developer experience across the group's monorepos — frontend architecture doc, Vitest test infrastructure and a TypeScript strict-mode pass on The Human Project; per-branch Neon databases for local development, a branch-cleanup GitHub Action and Drizzle migrations in CI ahead of API deploys on the Underlings platform.
• Cognitive Cloud — an AI actions platform giving agents a catalog of ready-to-use tool integrations. Led the frontend and built the management dashboard (Vue 3, Vite, GraphQL, Pinia) where customers discover, configure and manage actions — the platform's primary user surface.
• Agent harness on the Underlings platform — core contributor to the agent loop and the sandbox tooling that runs coding and general-purpose agents inside Daytona sandboxes, with budget enforcement, error recovery, a completion flow and real-time preview-log streaming. Migrated the agent off Python and Google ADK onto Claude with the Anthropic SDK.
• Wrote the platform's agents SDK, published to npm, which plugged actions into agents through tool and function calling against the platform's Model Context Protocol endpoints.
• Published cc-prime, a Vue component library extending PrimeVue with first-class Tailwind CSS support.

• Taught web development to a global audience — 8 published courses with 12,000+ enrollments and a 4.4 average rating — WordPress and PHP, Ionic, Angular, and Node with LoopBack — plus 93 YouTube videos and 22 articles, all built around real projects rather than toy examples.

• Cloud cost consulting under FinOps principles across GCP and AWS, and the frontend of Efficient Cloud Advisor, which visualizes spend and turns FinOps recommendations into actions a team can take. FinOps Certified Practitioner, 2023.

• Built a visual drag-and-drop editor (MxGraph) for a multi-level IVR system, generating the JSON consumed by Aculab telephony services in place of hand-authored call-flow configuration.
• Shipped UI for the Reach Preference Centre, an outage-management platform serving roughly 21 million subscribers, and for the PON planned-outage notification system built for Exelon and PECO.

• Upwork (2014–2020) — top-rated freelancer delivering Angular and Vue apps, Ionic mobile apps, and Laravel, Node and Firebase backends.
• Lucid Digital (2019–2022, part-time) — built and maintained CaseReady, an Ionic and Angular Android app that walks operating-room nurses through preparing a surgical case.
• Tomahawk Technologies (2016–2018, 2020) — led the ParkAdmin rewrite onto Laravel and Vue, then built the OPS-COM parking-permit self-service app in Ionic and Angular, in English and French.
• PixelDrop (co-founder, 2014–2016) — web and mobile studio; authored the open-source Cinnabar WordPress framework and Ionic Snippets plugin.
